Leo is a designer with a passion for designing and experimenting with new technologies. He is focused on the intersection of physical and digital play, designing toys and tools to help cultivate creative confidence.
He received an MFA in Dynamic Media at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and a BFA in Industrial Design at the Rhode Island School of Design. His passion for design, toys, and improv comedy culminated in his thesis book, Make It Ourself, which you can read here.
He has worked with Hasbro's Integrated Play Group, designing play experiences that bridge physical toys to virtual worlds. He has designed graphics and accessories for an Americana lifestyle startup. He presented his toys at the 2016 New England Graduate Media Symposium and was a panelist on the subject of Creative Collaboration.
He is currently the Lead Designer at Orimagi, designing creative construction toys combining origami and robotics.
